OUR STORY

About Hive5

Innovative STEAM-based education for curious children, with hands-on exploration in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.

OUR APPROACH

Where curiosity becomes discovery

Hive5 brings together creative and scientific exploration. Our approach is interdisciplinary, practical and grounded in real-world discovery. Children learn by doing and build confidence as they experiment, collaborate and solve problems.

Learning through exploration

From robotics and coding to art and hands-on science, our camps, after-school programs, classes and workshops offer opportunities for children to think critically and express themselves. We value small groups, supportive educators and a safe, welcoming environment.

HOW IT STARTED

Our Story

Hive5 began in 2018 as a mobile workshop initiative developed by two scientist-artists. It expanded into after-school and art classes in Aurora in 2019 and grew into a dedicated learning center in 2021. Today, our center brings creative projects, STEAM learning and a vibrant community together.

Why Hive5?

We believe the process of learning matters. Children are encouraged to try new ideas, learn from mistakes, develop social skills and enjoy the journey of discovery.
